Social trends can be tricky beasts to grab hold to.

Brandon and I like to look at social trends more like they are financial investments.  We really want to do our homework and make sure we see that the trend has a future. There is nothing more embarrassing as ponying up to a trend only to find that a month later its as dead as Nicolas Cages career. You can imagine how stupid we looked after buying all those warehouse cases of Slap Bracelets back in 1994. We could not give those things away.

We have learned our lesson. Brandon and I like to look look to the furture.

Oddly enough, the day I first experienced a dvd and left vhs technology behind was the same day I had first tried Del Taco. Granted this was several years ago, even so, now that Blu Ray tech is out I cant wait to see what new mexican tech Del Taco will unveil in 2011. Poor Taco Bell.

Brandon and I have the great honor in being in the finals in the annual O.C. Funniest Competition. Some other great comics are going to be performing too so it will be a good show.  Come and check it out. They serve chicken fingers.

That's a creepy phrase, "chicken fingers". Personally I don't like the idea of chickens having fingers. I mean, give an animal opposable thumbs and eventually he will come for revenge. Remember the scene in Jurassic Park when the dinosaurs learned to turn door knobs. Terrifying. Surely, if dinos can do it then we stand no chance against angry fowl.

Also if you are a fan of improv there is a great team in L.A. that performs every Monday at the UCB theater called The Smokes. Great chemistry and excellent give and take with these guys. They made improv seem so easy and casual.  Check them out if you get a chance.

Today we launch our site with a bunch of new features. You can buy the hard to find B&T stuff on our e-store, you can see when our new gigs are happening, and now with this blog you can see how aweful it is to be standup comedians. Hooray for you!
